I'M EMMALYN
Throughout my life as an artist, I've barely survived public school art classes, been gifted lessons, and found an entire universe of self teaching from Youtube. But THE thing I am most grateful for in any season of my life has been the artists themselves... supporting me and investing their kind wisdom to me.
I realized not everyone has opportunities to find that connection and support that I've so loved... So why not make one?
MY STORY
I've called myself an artist since I've picked up my first chubby crayon as a toddler. And since those ancient days of ye olde, I've realized how much I love processing my life through my creativity. Understanding what I was experiencing through my art lifted a veil and fog I didn't even know was there.
But what was even more astounding was the way I was able to connect with other people. When I've asked to see someone's art, I have been able to spot and empathize with what that person has struggled with... and the conversations that followed, I still cherish to this day.
